What is IPTV?
IPTV is defined as a digital television service delivered via an IPTV network infrastructure. IPTV is often delivered in conjunction with Video-on-Demand (VOD) and other non-television services such as Voice-over-IP (VOIP) and other Internet services such as Web and email.
While IPTV is still in its infancy, the widespread residential uptake of broadband Internet has paved the way for IPTV to be a viable (and inexpensive) entertainment media of the future.
